... Going from straight'ish bars to H-bars'll put the hose exiting from the master cylinder into a bit of an overly exposed looking position: In that the hose exiting the master cylinder is pretty much the first thing that'll impact with the ground if I crash (when *cough cough* :wink:).
So ... as I've got to rebuild the brake lines anyway as the nice tidy job I did on the current build is way too short to use with the sweep of the H-bars, I'm wondering about replacing the 8mm straight connector with a banjo fitting - so the hose exits at 90' to the master cylinder, rather than inline with it.
Before I order the stuff in, has anyone tried it, and did it work. I kinda can't see why it won't work, other than perhaps the length of tap exiting the master cylinder might challenge me to find a long enough hollow bolt?
A drawing might help if this makes no sense as a narrative.
I'll work on this and post something once my fantastic computer graphics skills have been put to the test.
