The builder just rang me up to say he’s gone through the incoming water supply at home & when he fixes it, shall he put a tee in before the meter & run it to an obscure location in the garden then re-bury the in-coming pipe.
Honesty or free water for a v big garden?

    So the dilema is:

Do you commit theft or not.

Shouldn’t the answer be simple either way ?

is he trying to make up for causing a torrential flood at your house by damaging the super powerful main water supply to your property?

“alright guv, i’ve made a hole in your water supply, want me to rig it so you can blag some free water?”

    “ummmm”

“well i’ve already turned your garden and ground floor into a water feature”

You are considering something illegal so you ask opinions on the internet? What is your next step, ask the water company what they think?

A life of crime is not for you.

Is he allowed to fix it if it’s before the meter? Does he not need to inform the water board for them to repair? Maybe this is why he’s offering…
