Yeah, the open/felled bits on the way to Dixons hollow were icy on wed but all the stuff in the trees was clear.
Fire roads were dodgy but might have cleared.Posted 2 years ago # -
Cheers mate, much appreciated

Went round Dalby on Wed it was great but very slow going in lots of places. There was a lot of ice and snow over lots of the red trail but not under the cover of trees, and fire roads are lethal so caution needed.
Some of the sections are really good to and you can really go for it on them
Be prepared for it to take you quite a bit longer than normal unless it escaped the fresh snow that fell up here last night and today. Have fun

We had a nice snowfall last night. Driving conditions were a bit iffy in Thornton and Pickering, so the hill down to Low Dalby itself might be fun.
Saying that, a nice bit of sun today will clear it all.

Check my other post on here: Dalby Xmas or some such.
Plenty of Xmas pictures, 26-30th DecPosted 2 years ago # -
been wanting to go myself tomorrow, The website says the trails are closed but it contradicts itself with the description??
Please note that Dalby Forest is open as far as the Visitor Centre only, please take extreme caution on the access road. All cycle trails and walking trails are still affected by snow and if you choose to use these please take extra care. Please note that vehicle access through the forest is limited and emergency services would also be affected by this situation.
Doesnt actually quote its closed anymore
