Hi, As the title says I’m just putting together a 29er and would appreciate some opinions on what wheels. Budget is sub £200 (the more sub the better!) but I don’t want something too heavy. I’m looking at the Fulcrum Red Metal 29SL but the Superstar Tech2 Evo 29Rs look good too. They’re a bit cheaper (good) but heavier (bad) than Fulcrum.
Anyone got any knowledge of either/ Thanks all.

I was faced with the same dilema a few months ago and went for the Fulcrums. So far I have been really pleased with them, they feel lightish, are nice and stiff and roll really well I’d have no problem in recommending them. To qualify these comments I’m 14st and ride a mix of woody single track and rocky Peak trails.
