Depends. BMX is for rubber people that don't shave yet, to paraphrase Keanu Reaves in Point Break. It's great fun, but after a certain age you don't bounce anymore, you just hit the ground with a wet slap. I recently gave up after 27 years on a BMX, reluctantly, but the injuries, skinny jeans and sideways New Era just don't become a 40 year old.

my mate has finally said he's getting a mtb . after 27yrs bmx he'll love it!
we will roll on 20's and 26's! 🙂

If for no other reason, it's worth getting one so that you can wear your girlfriends jeans and buy t shirts that dont fit. Oh, and wear your trainers out trying to slow yourself down because you're too cool to have brakes on your bike.

Mine will be surfacing from its hibernation shortly, just in time for my 40th. 🙂
