I have a Cube AMS 125 K18 model, 2 yrs old with Formula Oro brakes and Fox Float RP23 rear and Rock Shox Revelation forks. They have gone up alot in price since then and the spec for your money is not as good as it was. Formula Oro are superb, only one needed bleeding a month ago before the Sam Houghton Challenge.
The bike is a great XC/Enduro and like the fact that you can lock both front and back to a hardtail road bike, handy for blitzing up lakeland passes. Light enough to carry on your shoulder. I had thought about Fox forks but they were heavier (plus another £300 more) and felt that Rock Shox was ample for the job and went for its lighter weight. 125 gives you more leeway when landing and on the rocky stuff plus I am nearly 15 stone so the 100 won't go far for me!
Negatives - none really other than usual wear and tear - BB replaced twice, headset bearings, rear suspension bushes wear out quicker than you think and can cost £40 to replace all. All in all a great fast full sus bike.
