im off there for a week on a course in march 26th, which means five days of 2.5hrs riding freedom? is cannock chase worth the drive or is there something more local?
Bit early but it be good if someone could show me round some local stuff if thats possible.

how far is it to cannock chase. is the larger circuit do-able in 2hrs.
Cannock is 45 to 50 minutes drive about 35 miles.
We have a few routes we do between Nuneaton,Hartshill,Bentley woods,Baddesley and Arley wood.
If your around on the Sunday morning or Thursday night if you have lights happy to show you round.
Defo do Cannock if you get a chance, weather should be ok next week. We normally do road routes around wolvey, withybrook to monks kirby - these are farm tarmaced routes and you will be lucky is you see a car plus fantastic views.
ok,to bump this one. I will be up in the Nuneaton area from sunday till the following friday. I will be hitting cannock one or two evenings but will doing something bigger on the sunday. Is the peaks worth a visit. if so whats best to do?
