Does anyone know if routers are affected by heat? Ours is behind some hot water pipes and it keeps dropping connection. Since I moved it out to unplug/plug/swear it seems to be working OK.

I might just move it anyway

Electronics don't like heat as a general rule, so move it I'd say

Our routers/switches/hubs don't like it when the temperature gets higher than 30°C's.

They get toasty enough on their own let alone with central heating, and will definitely start freaking out if too hot.

It's just a small computer, it won't like heat.

Not to mention the metal pipes will play havoc with wifi reception.
