I thought they had stopped filming Last of the Summer Wine 😀

Lovely part of the world though, I'm hoping to get back up there next April (usually no midges at that time of year).

You missed the Kielder 100 for that?! Unbelievable.

Reservoir looks a bit down, you must have been thirsty.

    I'm guessing:

Ft William to Laggan Dam, then over Bealach Lochan a'leabhain (or whatever the hell its called) down to Loch Pattack then Dalwhinnie, then on to Kingussie and into Glen Tromie and heading south to the Gaick Pass? Then Blair Atholl, something cunning through to Kinlochrannoch, through the rannoch woods to the bealach galabhaich and down to Killin and then… christ knows, is that Kinlochleven?

    not far off mate……..

killin into glen lyon, south track of loch lyon to bridge of orchy and then WHW to glen nevis.
fort william to aviemore not kingussie was done in the 1st day……it was long too.

Haha, genius, I was planning to ride to the parent's along this track, tis good?

Fort William to Aviemore sounds painful, 100km at least yeah? Did you take the Coire Pitridh track up from Lochan na h'earba?

glen lyon track is fantastic all the way to the whw.

yes we did take the coire pitridh track, and when we got to the top spent 30 mins looking for the left track round the lochan……..it does not exsist, however the right track was ace.

from the a9 just north of dalwhinnie we went on general wades road all the way to kingussie……a gem of a track too.

Hmmph. Guys at bothy bikes warned me off that Wade's Road going south, because of the wind as much as anything!

Is that the Kingshouse? I didn't recognise it because I'm always slumming it round the back with the other clarty walkers and cyclists.

    Great trip btw!

Nice pics…I recognise a few of them but not sure why…the dude on the green Orange appears to have his brake levers misaligned (that is the only 'fault' I can spot as the pics all looks very good).

    And yes…I'm effing jealous!
