About Me
I'm Hugh, I live just outside Monmouth. I used to ride a lot, off-road and road, with occasional races.
I now have a neurological condition, now diagnosed as a form of Motor Neuron Disease, so cannot really ride, but I do have an off-road wheelchair.
I still use STW as the community is very supportive.
I started mountain biking to lose weight and then get fit. I originally used MTBWales.co.uk, now sadly defunct, and met a lot of excellent people, and took part in several group rides and 24 hr races (as 1 of a team of 4).
