Launched on New years day 2014, to coincide with Sven Nys swap to Trek from long time sponsor Colnago – the top flight Boone 9 has landed in the UK, and we have one of the first in the UK to test.
Kitted out with Shimano hydraulic RS785 discs and Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting, the spec is unashamedly top end. At £4500/$6299 we’ve got some high expectation that the Boone 9 will need to meet to get a high rating but, if first impressions from the visitors to grit.cx test HQ are anything to go by, it may well live up to them.
We’ll have a first ride – Ridden – review next week, so you wont have to wait too long to hear our first thoughts, and the full reveiw will be posted up by the time the racing season has started in earnest.
Trek’s website has the full specs
