Really enjoyed that – great team effort!

Yeah enjoyed that a lot. Sterling effort Ivan and as I understand it bunch size makes a bit of a difference in zwift so you may well have made us faster any how and even then, over most of an hour I’m not holding a lot more than that.

You actually put out more W than the rest of us so if anything it’s is lot slowing you down by being too spiky!

Annnnnd that’s the quote I’ll choose to take away from it all…😉

Does anyone know where the results are published, I can’t see anything on the wrtl website without creating an account?

Well done guys. Glad you enjoyed it. That is an evil ttt course.

In honesty an actual hill would be fine, those sharp but piddly little ones in tonight’s course are horrid for keeping a group together on though as they’re just not long enough to adjust your effort on properly.

Still I think we should be pleased with our week one effort. By my maths we won our pen with 55.04, so about 50 seconds up on second place.

Have to see how that pans out on the overall results but more than anything putting all 5 of us over the line within 7 seconds of each other is pretty good I reckon.

I got left behind after one lap. I watched the rest, impressive teamwork.
    Interim results are up now.
    Overall 55:04.964, 37.25kmh
    General classification 227/359
Frappe category (for teams with best rider an A) 122/141
with 6 of 8 time zones completed, so the positions/totals will change slightly overnight.

So you see Ivan, it was Newman made us look rubbish.

It looked like your connection dropped out something. You kept displaying 0w so we’d figured you had hardware issues or something.

It’s a big event with an awful lot of work involved for the guys who run it to be fair.

Yeah not sure how much I helped by bumping us up the category!

The 3r Alpe KOM – 15.35 on Sunday

I’ll be doing it again I think fifth week on the trot and brilliant for working up a Sunday Roast Appetite.

Dtcc are rolling out en mass to the Shane Williams ride on Sunday morning.

4 guys from MVCC are doing a virtual zwift everesting on Alpe Du Zwift tomorrow for SAMH fundraising

Great ride today swarm. I’ll remember to bring my kit next time.😁

Really enjoyed it. That last lap was hard! Nice for Dr P to show us the underpass where the magic happens…

Relaxing in the sun with a beer now. Cheers!

Nasty course that Astoria8, I did a 4-lap “Flying Cheetah” ITT there at end of Nov last year on Cervelo P5 TT frame (unsure of wheels, my guess is either Zipp 808s or Enve SES 3.4s), ~1hr15mins30secs of torture (not helped by only having two gears at time, I’ve had 22 again for the last month or so).

Hope those of you that took part had fun, hope to be able to join you soon, no closer to having new belt fitted on Direto after randomly waking at ~0300 and going back to bed ~0900-1300 while spending afternoon feeling like a zombie.

I think we all enjoyed it, certainly it sounded like folk were smiling through the pain!

Not a good course for the first time out together but that said it can only get better with practice I guess.

How we feeling about another TTT this Thurs?

Trying to plan out my riding in a vain attempt to bring structure to the week.

I’m up for it but wouldn’t mind ducking out if people would prefer to ride in Latte rather than Frappe

Result irrelevant to me. I’m in.

On the subject of results I just managed to log in.

133 out of 155. 9 mins down on first 5 up on last so I think we did OK all in all especially given we only just slip into that category.

I’m in, from a selfish point of view the mix works well for me, I need more practice at staying with a group so a bit of a range in our outputs does me good and as for the actual race I’m in it for the “pleasure” not the position.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but it’s greater London Flat this week for the TTT so should make a better course for us.

Well I guess that puts us in what ever the easier group is then. Which is odd because you’d think Frappe would be the pretend not really a race category as opposed to being above anything else.

If you’re interested pie enter the WTRL TTT on Thursday (I’m assuming 7.40pm again folks?) and change your zwift and zp names to have (STW) at the end – make sure it’s round brackets and caps.

Other than that just turn up really – we’ll clarify the start time a little before as it’s a bit faffy but the import thing is be in the event and NOT PEDALING by 7.39.

It’s helpful if you can get on discord, even just to listen in, for the countdown but not essential, you just need good eyes.

Savoyad do you want to enter us again as you know the drill or shall I pick it up?

Though if you have four B’s you may get bumped as well right?

Speed sensor and calculated power for rollers. Managing a mighty 80W – no idea if this is a sensible number or utter bollocks.

Found my borrowed turbo was in the list of devices, now telling me 185W. Does this seem more likely?

enter the WTRL TTT on Thursday

Hang fire on that bit – we had to enter cat A last time, not sure if that’s something derived from sign on or otherwise.
