Hi,
I very much appreciate that this is a niche question, but I’m hoping someone out there has an idea of what’s going on.
I have a new Zwift Hub, connected to an HP laptop running Win10 in my garage. I also have a new ANT+ dongle on an extension cable sitting beside the hub. Everything works perfectly, as long as I don’t have my mobile phone anywhere near me. Last night my Zwift hub connection was dropping out because I’d left my phone on the kitchen table and had forgotten to switch its Bluetooth off.
Here’s my problem. I’m a type 1 diabetic and my phone connects to my Libre 2 glucose sensor via Bluetooth. So, when Zwifting, at the moment I’m doing so with no idea what my glucose levels are like. I never had this problem with my old Halford’s wheel on trainer. The only thing that I can think of that’s changed in my overall setup is that I lost the chest strap for my ‘Coospoo’ heart rate monitor, so have been using my Garmin watch which broadcasts via Bluetooth to my laptop as well. Am I just overloading the Bluetooth? Is there a way that I can maybe force the Zwift Hub to use the ANT+ and reduce the burden on my Bluetooth connection?
