    Hi,

ordered a Capra from their site and it said available on the 11th of May.

There customer service is non existent so still haven’t had a message back after 5 days of waiting.

Any experience how long it will probably take?

It now says sold out? Not sure if that affects anything as it was paid in full before it changed on the website?

    Thanks

    Rob

The bikes are amazing, but cheap and come from Germany.

They have cut a lot of corners to get the prices down.

I accept that, but just wondered if I will get it by the end of the month?

I’ve just bought a Capra, but chose one that was in stock – came a week after I paid for it and they answered all my e-mails within 24hrs. Maybe they don’t like you 😉

Have you paid for yours? A mate reckons you pay 10 days before shipping if on back order

Take a look on Facebook YT Industries UK, the guys there seem quite well informed. Some people say there’s have been turning up early, without any word from Germany.

I ordered a Jeffsy. It is due in on 18th May, I’ve had an email confirming the date and receipt of the money paid. Can’t wait, have a trip planned to Torridon for the end of the month, so really hoping its gets here before then.

A mate took delivery of a top bling Capra CF Pro Race last week. It was declared in stock on their website when he placed the order and took 4-5 working days to arrive I think so surprinsingly speedy.

@Enmac, seriously looking at the Jeffsy myself at the moment. Any chance of a bit of a review when it arrives please?

Problem is it said available from the 11th. I would like to gather that that means mine has been held for me when it arrives on the 11th?

Again, it says sold out now, but they took my money.

I found their customer service great. Ordered on a Monday, got the bike same week.

Emails to let me know and emails answering my questions.

Very good service, especially as for them it was not in their own language. Imagine going into a LBS and only speaking German.

I also found the way it had been put together great. I checked all the bolts and they were all torqued to the correct settings.

I ordered mine yesterday, and when I ordered it, the availability was 13/07. Just got an email from them saying that it is now available 11/05 – Maybe I’m getting yours? 😈

All good! Just had reply… It’s coming around the 11th!

    Gonna be soooooo sweet!

Was going to get an Orange as a Yorkshire boy, but I’m from Yorkshire so I want a bargain! Sorry Germany wins this one!

    Will do

I test rode the Hightower, Ibis Ripley LS, Transition Smuggler and Trek Fuel. They were all good so figured that the Jeffsy would be too but better value.

Went for the Capra Al Comp 2. Like the colour, like the spec… Didn’t need huge travel and the weight is so close to the carbon it ain’t worth worrying about 🙂

    Oh…. and it’s a flipping bargain and a company asset 😉

    Gotta love being LTD!

I decided in january to buy the AL1 model. They emailed me straight back reguarding any queries, paid straight away. Bike said it wasnt due in stock untill the 30th march. It then turned up on the 31st so was happy 🙂

Courier ref will appear on your order online when they’re shipping the bike. Yt don’t send despatch emails.

Apart from that I found their comms pretty good, cs responded to all my emails within 24 hours.

We’ve bought 2 Capras from them and they have both turned up on the week they were meant to (Even though YT aren’t great at replying about exact dates). But they have been good at replying to enquiries and stuff like that.
A friend broke one (by crashing fairly hard and they sorted it out with their Crash Replacement Program no bother.
They’re great bikes (CF and Alu) and a brilliant price. In the near future I may well actually get myself one (but then 3 of the same bike in the household might look a bit lame/wannabe team!).

Your email invoice from them will have a week number on there for when they send it to you.
