Has anybody tried one of these? As a certified gear nerd, I have been lusting for a Fumpa Pump for a while… I like the fact that it will pump my tires to a specific value and shut off, which is handy when you are a bit picky about tire pressure.

Thing is, the Fumpa is super expensive. Enter the Xiaomi Mi pump. Does anyone have real life experience with this? It will not be for carrying around the trail in a backpack, it will be for adjusting pressures at the trailhead and between rides.

Yeah, I know. Could just buy another track pump and keep in the car, but where’s the fun in that?

They take about 3 or 4 minutes to pump up a tyre apparently so depends if you’re in a hurry or not. They are cheap for what they are though and take up a lot less space than a track pump when travelling.

That’s what I was thinking. It would be very rare that I need it for fully inflating a tyre, it would just be for topping up and adjusting pressures before rides.
