Looking to replace the chainrings, but XT outer rings at £80 seems to be pretty dam expensive. Will an SLX outer chainring fit on a M770 xt chainset?

are they the same pcd?

why not check using the shimano tech docs website:

so yes as long as you get a 104mm pcd ring you will be fine
