Anyone else had problems with the seat post slipping down due to Whytes “special” design of clamp that they use?  I’ve tried it dry, lithium grease, copper grease, carbon grease, as tight as I dare and as loose as I dare but nothing seems to work.

Help!

Not quite the same, but fitted a dropper to mine with same clamp / bike.  It’s got the most annoying creak that won’t go despite grease, no grease, copper slip, tigther, less tight etc etc.  Now learning to live with the noise, but might try a new clamp next.

Also very interesting to hear about the creak. I have exactly the same and I thought it was the post(Ascend XL) or bb. Im going to stick a normal post on there to see of it sorts it.
