  • Which CSS based web editor?

As the title says i am looking for a new program to build web pages. I currently just use Front-page (don’t laugh!) to write the code and preview in which ever browser but can’t help feel there must be a more modern way of doing things!

I am quite comfortable with CSS and have looked at Coda, but not really had a chance to get to grips with it. All i want is something simple with a good preview, validating tools and perhaps tips on code, and just as importantly i don’t want to be learning new software for the next 6 months! It would be handy if it was cross platform Mac and PC too.

So, anyone have any tips or recommendations?

    Thanks

    Si

If you use the Firefox Web Developer plugin you can actually edit css on the fly and view it in the browser without even having to save the new edited css.

    There’s a similar Microsoft tool for IE7.
