Hi,
I’m heading to Afan for the first time tomorrow morning and wondering where is best to park. There seems to be a few options around, but I won’t be able to get there too early and was wondering if the car parks fill up. I’m planning on riding W2 and happy to pay to be near cafe and toilets. I don’t want to end up driving around and wasting time though to find somewhere with a space so any advice welcome.

In the car park at the visitor centres. Glyncorwyg was £3 to park all day a few weeks ago.
Afan Argoed visitor centre is £1 all day and theres always somewhere to park.
It's sunny so the Afan car park will be most likely heaving. If you're doing W2 then I'd park at Glyncorrwg as it'll be quieter plus you'll finish there and can pop into the café as it's good and support a local business.
You can also park at Bryn bettws lodge. Cafe/showers etc. parking is free, and it’s right on Y Wal
