  • Wheels Manufacturing (or other) BB30 to threaded adapters- any good?

    Hi all-

Looks like I’m getting a new gravel frame, and swapping all the good bits from my CX bike over.
Everything is a straight swap apart from the cranks and BB. Old frame is BB30, new frame is GXP 68/73.

I’d resigned myself to buying some Rival cranks, but would really like to move the cranks if possible as they’re carbon SRAM Force CX1 with an AbsoluteBlack oval chainring. Fairly bling.

Has anyone used an adapter for this purpose, eg:

    If so, any good?

    thanks…

Check your crank spindle length. (needs to be at least 104mm for that BB in a 68mm frame) Standard BB30 cranks are narrower from what I remember.

BSA 30 bottom brackets work fine. Not all 30mm crank spindles are long enough though.

Thanks. Yes, I’ll be checking that.
