    It was in the ‘brake bits’ compartment. Any idea what it is?

    Now that’s interesting. I wonder why I have one of those, as none of my bikes have callipers with banjo connectors!

    Pad retaining pin, though the thread is very long for that.

    Looking at the exploded view for the SLX caliper it *is* a banjo bolt. The mystery is how I got one but I don’t expect anyone here can answer that.

    Perhaps the real question is have you fitted some shim brakes are some point on a mates bike only to have them complaining they leaked a bit and don’t work very well?😋

    This. Will have been in the bags of odds and sods you get with a brakeset.

    This. Mis packed, the first time I changed a caliper the M6000 caliper I bought had instrcutions for a m615 caliper. Caused a few problems!
