What to do with an old frame?

Any suggestions as to what to do with my slightly damaged and fixed by myself carbon frame?

I will have an old carbon 2017 YT Jeffsy frame that I won’t be using.

It’s well worn, and has had a chip out of the gelcoat on the downtube that has been repaired by me with some epoxy and pigment (badly). The bottom bracket cups are also ovalised.

I’m pretty sure that it’s ok to ride still, because I’ve been riding it pretty hard for the couple of years since it was damaged with no problems.

However, I wouldn’t really want to sell it to someone, because I don’t think I can in good faith, because it’s pretty knackered.

I would be happy to give it away to someone. I’ve asked in my riding group, and no-one’s interested. Probably because they’ve seen how much I’ve abused it over the years.

I’ve come to terms with the fact that it’s probably going to end up at the tip, but before I do that, any other suggestions?

If I do take it to the tip, then I’ll probably strip the shock off it and sell that separately. Although that’s fairly knackered too.

Ooh I just logged on to ask if anyone had an old broken frame for a project I have in mind, but I think someone else could use that one to ride.

Dedicated turbo bike?

There’s an app talked about on the Zwift forums for some months, that can increase the gear range of MTBs, to make them competitive with typical road gearing in races/freerides.

And I always forget its name… QZ???

I don’t have/want a turbotrainer, but that’s a good suggestion.

If it’s just tired rather than broken then I’d have no problem giving it away. Wouldn’t be bothered selling it either as long as the buyer knows what to expect.

Auction it as suitable for spare parts only, with good quality pictures of the damage.

Im kinda looking for old damaged frames too, but aluminium.
Id like to weld up a tallbike, and possibly something else, but dont want to cut up anything good,any old alloy frame would do.
Although id quite like something 26 to repair with a tapered headset for my 27.5 forks
