here is an abridged version of this morning’s conversation.

Her: are you going to tidy up before your friends come round tonight?
Me: Tidy up what?
Her: All my clothes
Me: But the’re your clothes!
Her: yes, but they are your friends!

If she cares about her smalls being on display while your friends are there, that is her problem 🙂

Tidy them into a black bag and put them out of view. When she wants something they will maybe smell and be creased. Worked for me. She does her own clothes now.

Although – if it’s normally ok to leave clothes around, and then you change the situation by inviting friends around, you’ve created the extra work – so why should she do it?

I’d do the same my wife does when she wants to tidy my clothes – randomly fold them up and put them in the wardrobe (read screw them up and through them in).

Means I pay more attention to doing it myself in the future.
