Five foot ten and a bit. Relatively short legs (31" trousers), relatively long body (knuckles drag on floor on a bad day 😆 )

I'm thinking 18 or 16. My medium iO is a bit too stretched out for fun/techy stuff for me.

Whaddya think?

Yes 16" will be good for you for fun techy stuff, it actually feels ok for long rides aswell IMO, I'm 5'10" 32" inside leg.

16" here, 5'10", 32" ish leg. Plenty long enough for me with 65mm stem. 18" would be too big i think.

I've got an 18" frame, and I'm the same size as you, i think a 16" would be too small..............and it's for sale if you're interested

don't you want to know the spec

about 300 quid, i'm in essex, so pick up would be easier

so for the spec
18" geared inbred, about 4 yrs old, normal scratches
Marzochi bomber forks
truvativ cranks
shimano deore wheels with mavic rims
hope head set
flat oversize bars......can't remember the make, but those big wide 700mm things
easton oversize stem
deore rr mech
str frnt mech...though an old one

I've a picture somewhere, I'll get it posted if your interested

i've got an 18" scandal, and i'm 6'2". but that's probably just above what would be recommended - i like my bikes little and chuckable!

i'd say 16", on that basis, but others would probably say 18".

I'm 5'10 with 32" leg and on a 16" frame with 50 mm stem. It works for me.

Depends what sort of riding your planning.

I have 18" 456 and its near enough identical to my large scott scale apart from slightly different head angle.

Im 6 foot and 18" is good for me as I intend to use it for a fun bike.

I would maybe say 16" for you. Depends of you want to climb well then I would say 18"

i'd say youre on the cusp, so if you want singletrack chuckable, go 16", if you want xc speed and all day comfort go for 18". I'm a nats over 6ft, 34" inside leg, and run an 18" 456 - it's chuckable but still comfy all day.

18" with 70mm stem and I'm 5'10.5" - only had a few rides so far though.

On-One site has a load of info but you could do both happily.
