I can see via IG that Danny Hart runs a pair of black shoes with a gum sole with a lace cover, what shoes are these? I thought they’d be shimano but they dont make them in that colour, I’m after a new shoe with lace cover but not in a horrible colour

Id agree, not sure why I didnt google it! Just looked at a few online stores and then Shimanos own website. Shimano please release this shoe!

Do you really need the lace cover?

Yes, lace feature is what I am after. I like it in the summer for keeping debris out the shoe and then in the autmn/winter for keeping some wet and mud out too. Think I might have to go for function over fashion on this one!

Just bought some of these for those days when it’s cold and wet. roomy enough for decent socks, and nicely grippy sole for those scrambling hike-a-bike moments. lace flap, SPD, muted colours.
