  • What Merino / Sportwool (semi-cycling-specific) jersey?

So, I’d quite like a quality Merino / Merino-mix (Sportwool?) LS top that can be used multi-activities. To include cycling (so a pocket or two would be useful) but also hiking, climbing & just being outside doors in.

Have looked at a lot of the cycling-type ones, eg Morvelo, Torm, Kraft etc. Also like the Findra stuff, but the latter is particularly spendy and doesn’t have pockets.

Anything else I should be looking at?

I’ve heard good things about the Spesh drirelease tops, which sound quite close to what you’re after. I don’t have one though…

    I have an Alpkit one.

It’s got the cycling type 3 pockets on the back but I just use it for pretty much any outdoor activity

Really soft and washes and tumble dries nicely.

SportPursuit website did have a few good deals on Vulpine merino tops. They’re pretty nice, and not too ‘bike specific’.

I have an XXL Brand new On-One merino jersey on eBay that sounds exactly what you need. If you are XXL of course.
