    What: Skagen
Why: I like the look of it, it’s comfy and it tells the time.

Fossil – analogue with date and metal strap, classic yet up to date styling, and I got it 30 quid cheaper than the best price I could find just by asking for a discount in the shop!

    I do, to:

    Time myself at swimming
Check the time when I’m out on the bike and can’t see a clock anywhere
Check the time when I can’t see a clock anywhere, like, on the Tube or a bus or something

Quite useful actually. And there aren’t as many clocks around as there used to be. Cos more people have watches/mobile ‘phones and that.

G Shock for riding and Tag for everything else.

Got the Tag 11 years ago when my son was born and fulfilled a life long want. And it was ultimately cheaper than buying a fake every year from the looky-lookys on holidays.

G Shock is an excellent watch. Looks good and is tough as old boot. No idea what half the things on it do though….

Garmin Forerunner 110. Because it measures my runs and tells the time.

It needs charging up about every week or two but its a great watch

Suunto. A lot more expensive than your Casios, but not in the same league as the posh watches. Tells me how hard I’m working, how much I’ve climbed, how fast I’m going (not that useful sitting in the office, but I cba changing watches to do sport).

none man.. cos time is just a way that the man enslaves you man.. and that timepiece on your wrist is just a symbol of your obedience to the man.. man..
and if you have an expensive timepiece it just shows the level of your subservience to the man.. like the amount of time you were willing to sacrifice to the man in your attempt to look like the man.. man

man up ferchrissakes and stare mystically at the sky like a real man does when he wants to know what time it is..

Citizen Eco drive as I trashed every other watch I’ve had within a year so thought I’d try spending a bit more. Got it for £85 from Argos down for £150 so seemed worth a go. I’ve managed to chip the glass after about a year though it still works fine and doesn’t leak.

A Seiko that was given to me for a birthday by my parents back in the 1980s. It’s got a very subtle class to it that I like: extremely thin profile, black leather strap, white face with Roman numerals.

It was in the $400 range even then.

    Not that it matters… 😉
