I’m looking for a good, light hardtail and was considering either a Scott Scale 20, Trek Elite 9.8 or Specialized Stumpjumper Expert Carbon.

Don’t suppose anyone owns one of these here or has something else maybe I should consider?

Guess they are race bikes, but if it was my money it would be a whyte?

Have you also looked at the Whyte 19 carbon? Looks very well specced for £2.2k and if you fancy something a bit different/niche?

The Whyte looks similarly specced to the Trek, not sure on the green colour. The Trek’s colour isn’t that appealing either tbh.

You could go custom with the Whyte. Buy the 19 carbon frame in Red and build it up yourself. That is what I am doing … when the frame arrives
