@pigface-it was mentioned a few times in another thread that it annoyed some people somewhat and its something I had never given any thought to at all.

Yes Mute,those big long quotes or lists of bikes or whatever on other forums are pretty annoying, but then I never read them. Probably a little hypocritical of me to say that, on XCRacer and weightweenies my signature has a link to my blog, XCRacer is actually one of biggest sources of traffic! It’s on my profile on here, a surprising number of people click on that for whatever reason.

Unfortunately I’ve got the kinda brain that starts reading it every flipping time as I scan down a thread!
One of the big plus points of the STW forum’s layout is it’s lack of dead ends for the OCD sufferers! 🙂

As the pub analogy gets a lot of use around here, if you were in a conversation down at the STW arms, would you sign off every statement with ‘cheers’ then your name?

Doesn’t really bother me, I just find myself wondering ‘why’ sometimes.

it’s one of those things that really polarises opinion i think. you either strongly agree with it or strongly disagree.
i’m on the fence myself.
