Yes, it was. And, yes, also, how awesome is the NHS! Absolutely no hesitation in taking us in in Lincoln. As it was a birth without intervention and non C-section, the midwives were delighted as they felt they’d nicked a positive statistic from Brizzle. 😀

People born (and raised…but let’s forget the “raised” bit for now…spoils the fun) in Lincoln. Current theory is that the soldiers from the castle in Lincoln wore yellow tabbards during the Napoleonic wars or somesuch. But maybe to do with farming, corn, etc.
