just dug out all my old punctured tubes.

before i set to work repairinig them, can i use patches cut from an old tube as opposed to the rather expensive patches?

You can buy patches on eBay at £1 for 48. Cutting an old tube will work but not as well and is it really worth it. Even from a bike shop they are about 15p each. It’s still way cheaper than a new tube or going tubeless

I found the best patches come from old latex tubes rather than butyl ones.

More that going tubeless removes the punctures and the need for fixing tubes
