Recieved a ticket today from UKPC stuck to window of car, approx. 4 minutes after I parked claiming the parking attendant has reason to believe I left the site and am liable to the fine.

A little digging shows that the DVLA stopped sharing info with this company last year. If that is the case then they have no means to follow this up. My understanding is that I have to receive a NTK within 14 days (the same timescale as the reduced fine) or they will not win on appeal.

Anyone had experience with this company and did you pay or ignore and what happened?

thanks

I don't understand that bit. They followed you after you had left the site and fixed a parking fine to your car when it wasn't on their site?

Or you had left the site and returned?

I used MSE's forum on parking appeals to successfully challenge a ticket last year. Found it a little easier to get the info I needed over Pepipoo, other users were pretty responsive to questions and requests for advice.

They claim he parked in a free car park (for shoppers using the site) but left the site (on foot) Therefore breaking the rules of free parking.

Interestingly, the op doesn’t say wether he actually did do exactly that. So I will assume (in STW style) that he did, and was spotted 👍

After my thread last week where I was billed for staying in a carpark for ,6 hours.....

I didn't . I left went to a bike race and came back 5 hrs later.

They were told to poke it and bring on court if they must we will have no issues proving the vehicles where abouts.
