Now this is a tractor!

Was on the roadbike at the w/e and fell in behind a 60s Fordson major towing a trailer with a similar age Massey on it (amazing nick), perfect for drafting as they were going along at about 25-35km/h – stayed behind for about 2km, then overtook them on a hill!. Classic smell of tractor diesel exhaust, reminded me of being a kid standing on the triangle of the trailer (fully loaded with small bales) during haymaking, a H&S dream today!

Whilst on Raasay in May I saw an old Unimog rusting away in a field, you can see it on Google StreetView so it’s been there a while. Very sad indeed.
