I got to drive a friend’s New Holland T7.235 at the weekend! Probably the best day of my life, and I’ve never even been particularly into tractors like some of you evidently are. So Much Fun.
timber, you are correct
My rough understanding is that case new Holland were made to sell of the European bit of case by the European competition commission (or whatever they’re called). McCormick the brand was resurrected to cover this buy by a an Italian group of agricultural manufacturers. Hence why early McCormick’s as they are now look like case of a few years earlier
I learnt to drive on this ole girl. I had to push up on the steering wheel to get the clutch and brakes down when I was to weak/tall to do it normally.
She still works too in the winter

I remember having to do that 🙂
I learnt on a 135 vineyard, which had a more pre-teen friendly clutch pedal, although the brakes were far worse than the 165. Even yet I need to stand on the brake pedals for any meaningful braking action!
