I’ll give it a chance, TG at its peak produced some smashing telly for when you didn’t want to think too hard but I was getting pretty bored of Clarkson & co so it could be the fresh air it needed.

Evans (like Clarkson) is a bit of a love/hate type of person. It should be noted that he has managed to grow the Radio 2 audience from when he took over from Wogan – to some huge number. So obviously some people do like him!!
