    a long shot but does anybody have any experience of mountain bike trekking in this region??
    Looking to fly to Almaty, Kazakhstan and from there ride out over the Krygyzstan border and access the north of the Tien Shan from there… hopefully combining some yurt stays and some camping.. seems a great place to spend of couple of weeks and an affordable means to access some wilderness mountain biking.
