    Was out at 7am so it was a bit misty up here. Great morning out though. After a coastal route run went down the local trail to see how I got on with my new helmet. First time wearing a FF so wanted a practice somewhere familiar.

    Hating this thread. 🙁

    Making me homesick! I want to be in the woods, in the sun, in the springtime, with the bluebells blooming and the trees in bud.

    Seriously, though – Thank you all for these pictures. Makes me realise what a truly wonderful country the UK is, and how very lucky we are to live there! Counting down the days until I get home again! Riding on the Plain at the weekend and praying for the good weather to last!

    Washington, DC. Some lovely blossom on the trees, and a nice enough afternoon walking the National Mall.

    Not my pic, but lots of this today;

    It’s a nice place, actually. A decent lunch in Georgetown (Felt like being on a set from NCIS at times!) and then a stroll down to the White House, before meandering my way towards the rest of the monuments. Pleasant enough, but I’d trade it all for a ten minute walk in the woods with the scent of bluebells in the air.

    Still a bit of water and ice in places from melting snow, but I don’t remember it ever being this dry and clear in March.
