Sad to read, I can’t say I was fussed about their music but did fancy the pants off her and would never have believed she was 3 years older than me

Oh, sad…. My Ex GF will be really upset at this news. She travelled to nearly every concert they performed…

6 months older than me. Prince, Michael Jackson and Madonna all just a few weeks younger than her too.

Oh, what a shame. I’d no idea she was ill even. I’ve always been a bit of a sucker for a female power-pop vocalist, Look Sharp is a great album.

Played “Look Sharp!” a lot when it came out ~1990, she had a great voice. Had no idea Marie had been suffering with cancer on and off for most of this century, rip.

She was one of the highlights of my teenage (AND if I’m honest even my mid-30s) dreams.
