    … a race.

Did the British 10K yesterday and I’m feeling fine, other than slightly tight calf muscles. The question is: Should I go for a road ride tonight (around 32K) or rest up?

I know 10K isn’t really a big deal, but I’m not exactly a natural runner.

I would, just take it gentle and stretch well afterwards and you will all reet. 🙂

A very steady, i.e. zone 2, spin should help but see if the tightness increases before heading out.

I would, in fact, I always do. A gentle spin the day after a long or hard run always helps my muscles.

Yes cycling is pretty much the perfect thing to do after a hard run. Swimming also works well
