So, if the exit poll is accurate, why?

At least half the country aren’t die hard red or blue, ie middle ground. For them (including me) the leader of the party makes a big difference.

In the last 3 elections I voted L/C/LD. This time I don’t trust/like Ed and Ed. I doubt I am alone.

it’s still got idiot nationalism in common

Yes but it lacks the hatred of immigrants (though I think they made an exception when dear Nigel visited)

Also, Salmond has been conspicuous by absence in this election. How long until we see his smug face back in the news?

I want Farage to win but if the population want red Ed to be their Dear Leader so be it but just hope that one day you will not hear me say “I told you soooo … ” 😆

He was on the Tory campaign posters in Castleford – where the SNP weren’t standing of course. Tories playing racist card?

If the SNP had their way Scotland would be out of the EU. (They’d also be out of the Union).

So near identical to UKIP in effect.

Most probably due to class war or the hatred for the South. In the long run they will not improve and so will do more harm to their own future generations if they remain the same.

UKIP projected to win two seats.
Mark Reckless will be one, who will take the other? Tories claim to be confident they will take South Thanet, if so that’s Farage gone as party leader & I predict UKIP to then disappear up its own ‘arris through faction fighting.

Can someone explain to me what Scotland are going to achieve by only having SNP MP’s?

They have made it so the cons will have control of the next parliament and surely there isn’t going to be another independence referendum anytime soon.

The problem is Farage is taken almost as seriously now as Hitler was 5 or 10 years before he took power in Germany.

Farage scares me, because he comes across as a joke and still people vote for him.

If exit poll is right Farron, Davey go, Cable just hangs on. Labour hardly win any LD facing seats.

It’ll speed up the process of getting independence and I wouldn’t be so sure about there not being another referendum any time soon.

No, no, not PM but rather to win the seat he is standing for. A step at a time.

You have to bear in mind the country/people is still not ready for massive change for generations to come …

Farage unlikely in Thanet South, Tories confident according to Twitter. UKIP moves to the left and becomes a northern party.

It depends, if Farage quits then he’s yesterdays man. If he goes back on his pledge to quit as leader if not elected then he – at a stroke – becomes nothing more than a hypocrite (yeah, I know) and therefore just another lying two faced politician.

It’s Scotland’s fault that Labour can’t win enough seats in England?

Ten years before Hitler took power in germany he was in prison after the Beerhall Putsch. In what way is that similar to Nigel?

edit: actually nine years but the point stands.

I like that bloke Farage if he goes then I will just have to switch back to voting Tories in future.

The whole place is in slow demise anyway because of getting their knickers twisted/stuck with EU ZM bureaucrats …

Not true, SNP very pro EU.

god I wish we understood coalitions in the uk.

this many times over. The last few weeks have been so full of people ruling out coalitions that there’s little can be done without going back on that, especially if the Exit is even slightly close

No, I still stand by my original comment. I wouldn’t want him having the slightest bit of say in how the country was run. If nothing else he exists to remind how many idiots I share this island with and that an influx of immigrants who are different to them would be no bad thing.
