Tape under Rockguardz bashguard

Just bought a Rockguardz frame protector which bolts onto the downtube. After reading about them rubbing the frame I’m looking for the simplest way tonprevent that. The frame around the BB is an odd shape so tape might be difficult. I really don’t want to use anything like invisiframe or any tape thats too difficult to remove. It’s a raw carbon frame if that makes any difference.

Previously ive use a piece of old tyre strapped the the frame which works well and didn’t leave any marks.

Invisiframe is simple to remove with the right technique. Apply gentle heat, hairdryer not hot air gun, to soften adhesive. Peel back at an obtuse angle to shear adhesive. Clean any residue with isopropyl.
