Where’s best to get syringes big enough to fully re-fill the system (I’m guessing at something between 30-50ml having done a bodge job this weekend with a 5ml syringe)?
If anyone has any tips bleeding shimano brakes (last years model with the screw on funnel as part of the bleed kit). I am guessing that this weekends effort has left bubbles somewhere mid way along the hosing so a full re-fill from the calipers would seem to make sense.

I get mine from ebay. Apparently you might get one from a friendly vet if you know anyone

I got a couple of 50ml syringes from ebay for under £4.

Can’t help on the bleed technique as I haven’t tried yet but for the older models I found Shimano’s video guides on you tube where very helpful.

They might have made some new guides for their newer brakes?

Mine have all been free of charge from a local vet.

You can get a proper kit from here here[/url].

Very reasonable prices as well compared to the Branded versions.

I got full avid kit from ebay for about a tenner (syringes, tubes, clamps, screwins, small bottle fluid) I can’t get to it from work but suspect by now there will be a clone kit avilable.

I get ’em off ebay for ease… Just make sure you get the right connector type, straight or screw-on or whatever it may be.

Just this morning I ordered the kit eyerideit linked to – my new set needs hoses shortening and a bleed..
The link also has detailed instruction on the bleed process, though they are based on the ‘2 syringe’ technique instead of the ‘one syringe, one cup’ method

I used some from a vet.

I also tried to use them for fork oil but found the plunger must swell in the fork oil and becomes completely jammed!

Another vote for Epic. Ordered the kit for my Shimano brakes (bit older than the OP’s), plus an extra bottle of fluid. Kit arrived the next day with good instructions. Four sets of brakes now bled.

    After I explained I wasn’t a junkie, and didn’t need the needle exchange. 😀

Local kitchen shop – they use them to inject jam into doughnuts apparently.
