I need an easily available font to put on a sign that fits in the frame of a butchers bike. Something that looks like it's come from the 1940s....

But there's only going to be one word used, the owners name, so it needs to stand well on it's own....

That Penshurst one is available without the drop shadow too by the way.
There are loads of other good ones under [url= http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=115 ]the "Retro" section in dafont[/url] - those were just the first I saw.
Where's TJ? - he's the experts on fonts and their hidden meanings...
I think we'll be going for Fontelroy.
It'll be plain white on a green background with a pinstripe around the edge of the board.
I might curve it like the one above.....
