Am I right in thinking it went Hague, IDS and then Howard prior to Cameron?

I can’t remember if any of those 3 were considered ‘serious’ offers to the voting public. Obviously we can rule out IDS as serious, but the other two?

I suppose in the face of Blair and new labour they were futile gestures, especially at the end of 18 yes 18 years of conservative horror. There was no way the electorate was going back to that.

Suella spreading her views on LBC just now, in her standard fashion.  I like listening to all angles on stuff (well any sane ones at least) but her tone and manner has beaten me and I’ve adjusted the dial.

Stopped listening.

She just talked over people and cut them off.

Still rattling on about Rwanda but not offering any explanation on how sending a few hundred people there, will deter thousands from crossing the Channel.

She really doesn’t seem to understand the principle of people (in this case LBC) giving somebody enough rope, does she?

I’m sure that the headbangers who love her, will continue to love her when she advocates mining the channel or straffing small boats with Spitfires, but anyone sane will recoil in horror from the absolutely vile woman

Quite funny  listening to her struggling defend her views on LBC at the moment. The callers are pretty top notch, not sure her team expected that.
