I have a Galaxy S21 with a Smarty sim. It works on the 3 network.

Since yesterday it cannot connect to the network.

If I do a manual scan it can see the network, can connect for a few seconds, then it drops it.

I also have a 4g router in the shop with a Smarty sim and it’ working fine.

Asked on a local FB page and no one else is having issues.

The last update was a couple of weeks ago and I have tried multiple restarts with no success.

    Any suggestions?

After 5+ years of seamless use, I’m experiencing issues with my SMARTY sim

Your situation sounds slightly different, but last week when I messaged their customer service they confirmed they were aware that 3 were upgrading my local network and apologised for the interruption to service

Have you tried your phone sim in another phone?

Does the router sim work in your phone?

I’d be trying to isolate whether its an issue with your phone or sim.

Can’t even get the sim out.

The little drawer thing won’t open.

Likely a SIM failure. They should send you a replacement FOC.

Well this is interesting , I am having similar issues with a Samsung A54 , Tesco contract using O2 network, wife has iPhone on Vodafone and we are both experiencing connectivity problems since the other day when BBC weather app went mental, coincidence or not. I can call using wi-fi but other wise phone says emergency use only ??????  Off into store tomorrow to see if they have any ideas, hope it’s not built in obsolescence .

Loads of 4/5,g upgrades going on. It’s definitely leaving a few holes in the network.
