I’m hoping to secure a Stooge Scrambler at some point in the near future, but I’m really not sure on whether to go with the 18″ or 20″

At 5.11′ the website puts me on the smaller bike, but when I compare the geometry of both size options to my old size Large Surly Karate Monkey, that’s closer to the sizing of the 20″.

Anyone with a Stooge Scrambler have any experience here, which did you go with?

    6’ 1’’ here; I’m on a 20 if that helps.

I’m 5’11 and have the 18. Fits perfect and the best fun you can have.

ok this is good info, sounds like the 18 might be the one.

Out of interest what length stem are you running on yours @ruddy ? I’d really like to run something around a 50mm if possible but I’m not sure the length is there from the frame.

Andy recommended 50-60, think I went 60 as using loop bars. Also quite a few spacers to get nice and high so front end rolls everything with ya weight back.

    Great, thank you.

I sent Andy an email and got a reply right away. Based on my original mention of my old size Large Karate Monkey he suggested I could go with the bigger one if the numbers check out for me. It’s the reach that’s throwing me off  – The 20 is much closer in length to my KM than the 18 which is quite a bit shorter.
