Went out for my first proper ride on my new Genesis yesterday and haven’t stopped eating since. Had about 3 lunches and big dinner yesterday as well as filling up on snacks in-between.

Today has been a simlar food-fest. I’ve just had lunch and I’m already wondering what I can eat next.

    I’m sure there’s a perfectly plausible answer…

Presumably you didn’t get the Alititude or the Alptitude, but the Appetite.

    IGMC. 🙁

Drink some energy drink or eat gels/bars/sandwiches/jelly beans whilst riding. If you flog yourself without taking on carbs you’ll deplete your resources and get that mega hunger. It’s what happens to me if I do epics without adequate nutrition 🙂

Munch on the frame-when your teeth fall out then you can’t munch-sorted.

    Molgrips sums it up nicely.

    Eat more protein and ride!

    Er, carbs not protein…

carbs, protein, fat, e-numbers…I’m eating the lot at the moment.

I’d eaten quite a bit before yesterday’s ride too – more than usual in fact because while I had cleverly remembered to change the time before I went to bed, my clever phone remembered too and I got to the ride an hour early so went for second breakfast!
