The missus has a nice, but oldish, roadie running SRAM Force 10speed.

Currently it has 50/34 and 11/26 cassette which she finds hard going round the Peak.

The chain and rings are past their best, so now feels like a good time to try and fit a bigger cassette too.

Going 11S isn’t an option as the hub is a Chris King R45 and an 11S freehub conversion is megabucks, on top of needing new brifters too.

I can see from the tech docs that an 11-28 would work but that only gains 2 teeth. Anybody know if you can get away with an 11-32? If it was a Shimano mech, I’d give it a try as there’s usually loads of capacity. Less sure about SRAM. Are all 10S cassettes the same spacing? I seem to recall so…

(She doesn’t want to lose top end (because reasons) so a 12up cassette won’t do it for her.)

    Thanks!

    11-30 should work shouldn’t it?

    I don’t think 10S 11-30 is a thing. 10S 12-30, yes. 11S, 11-30 yes, but not 10S….

No idea on the quality but it’s cheap so might be worth trying
