    Hi

I am thinking of buying a Space Chicken but could do with some advice on sizing, I am 5.11 and don’t know to go for a medium or a large in the 650b.

The plan is to use it for bridleways, towpaths and a bit of tarmac.

Can anyone who’s already got one advise?

    Thanks

you need to break down the 5’11” a bit: long legs, long body, long arms, long neck (!) – or what ?

… and if you’re a mountain biker, accept that it’ll prob feel too long initially even if you pick the correct size.

you can make adjustments with stems, spacers and saddle/seatpost unless you pick really badly at first.

    Large.

I’m 6ft 3in on the XL, and it’s never felt “too long” – short and twitchy and very different to my mtb, yes! You soon get used to it though.

I’ve just got one. I’m 6ft. 33 inside leg. I’ve gone large and it’s a good fit for me.it felt very different as I’ve always had mountain bikes. The frame felt big as tall not much from top of frame to my nuts but it’s the right size, I went and sat on a specialised diverge that had a similar stack and reach to help me make my decision. It’s a cracking bike. Fast and furious .

I’ve got a large 650b with Rival. I am just under 6ft and tbh it fits after I put the saddle forward about 2cm from the position in which it was delivered – should probably have got a medium.

Whereabouts are you OP? – I am in Cheltenham and would be happy for you to have a quick blast on it if you are anywhere close.
