Disappointed by my clarks c4’s, and really like my m7210’s on my geared bike. I was going to get a set for the single speed, but I’ve just seen on merlin, they’ve got the m9100’s for the same price. Are the slx 4 pots better overall?

    Certainly more powerful.

The 9100 are 2 pots, use the road style smaller 2 pot pad (same as Road FM calipers), and lack the servowave on the lever – each of those reduce the braking power.
I’d be happy with them on my SS, as they tend to need less brake, and being 2 pot and without servowave, a decent feeling bleed should be more straight to achieve.
